stuartcw on I know you've heard this question a lot but. I am 15 and I want to get into some programming but what language should I go with and which ones are still relevant?
Python: Here's why and here's the (MIT course)[http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-189-a-gentle-introduction-to-programming-using-python-january-iap-2008/] to learn it.

It was very useful in the now unbelievable era of home and small office networking before Internet. i.e. Windows for Workgroups 3.11 The idea was that you could buy 10Mb hub and connect all your PCs together and magically networking would work. Nowadays you pretty much only see IPs in that address range when something has gone wrong.
